Hexagonal part. X&Y zero is center of part. Tools 1 & 2 touch off top of shaft for milling grooves. Tools 3-5 touch off top of part for milling the hex.

Round flange held in aluminum soft jaws. .472 diameter reamed on manual mill. X0, Y0 = center of part.

Two-operation setup for an oval/slotted part. OP1 in vise. OP2: drill and mill 7/8 counterbores around perimeter.

Three views: Flycut side 1, Flycut side 2, Profile. 4" vises, fixtures on 1/2" parallels, 10-24 inserts. Note: grind parts square on disc sander for good hold in vise.

Vise #1 holds part for X0Y0 part zero touch off. Vise #2 holds a separate piece for pattern location touch off (X = center of part). Touch off tools 1-6 on top of part in vise #1; tools 7-9 on center of part in vise #2.

Round flanged part with bolt circle. Setup: 6" vise + hard jaws + vise stop + 1 3/8" parallels. Z = -.002 top of part for clean up. Run time 10:30.

Part held in vise with top and bottom jaws. X0,Y0 at top-left side of part. IMPORTANT: make sure part is centered along Y axis.

Locate part by edge find on top-left corner, then shift X & Y over to blueprint callout (X 8.236 / Y -10.188). Three bores numbered 1, 2, 3. Big bore head — creep up on bore diameter. Bore Ø2.4375 (4x). 4x .530 thru. Stops shown.

Magnesium part held in 2 vises with 5 clamps. Uses (2) 1/4 pins. MUST use long tool holders. MAG RUN — use 3/4 x 3" tall aluminum jaws. STOP on right.

Two vises, two views. 1) Sweep in locator hole in center of fixture. 2) Use work offset to set your fixture locations to the locator hole.

Hexagonal part. X & Y zero is center of part. Tools 1 & 2 touch off top of shaft (mill grooves). Tools 3-5 touch off top of part (mill hex).

Part held between two jaws with the part hanging out of the jaws. Set Q on center of part. Tool offset on top of part.

OP1: two vises with jaws, spacer below, set X0,Y0 to center/center, Z0 top of part. NOTE: you do not need spacers for this — bottom covers. OP2: 40027 fixture. 1) Dream center locator hole. 2) In change part set up — put locations in U5/V9 machine coordinates. 3) Set 1/2" rough & finish off top of fixtured part.

Large rectangular plate held with multiple clamps and 2x stops. 3x 1 1/2" – 3" × 26" aluminum bars. 4x 3/8-16 below. 18x Ø7/16 thru with Ø5/8 ↓ 7/16 counterbore. Program gives option to check that part is centered. Run time 20 min.
